We are seeking a Business Development Manager who will play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth and expanding our client base. He /She will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and closing deals to achieve sales targets. Your focus will be on generating revenue and fostering long-term partnerships to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and target potential clients within the designated market segments to expand the company’s customer base.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and exceed sales goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, industry challenges, and competitor analysis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Present and demonstrate our services to prospective clients, showcasing our expertise and value proposition.
  • Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for both the client and the company.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketers, content creators and project managers, to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and developments to provide insights and recommendations for business growth. Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets in a content marketing, digital marketing, or advertising agency.
  • Strong understanding of content and digital marketing principles, strategies, and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
  • Exceptional negotiation and persuasion skills to effectively close deals. Self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
